The Music
Last year, Owensboro proved it could lure some major acts to perform for free at Friday After 5, so you should expect more of the same for 2018. LOCASH was the biggest act to take the stage last year. This hot country duo became a household name with the anthem “Here Comes Summer” and has enjoyed additional radio success.

The Kroger Street Fair was bigger and better last year. It expanded to Veterans Boulevard, and each week brought a new theme. The Class PreUnions were one of the most popular events at Friday After 5. Billed as Class PreUnions, these get-togethers included tables, chairs, and music. Reunion committees don’t have to pay for the space, making it even better.
