Start the Season Off With a 5k
Do you want to celebrate the new season of Friday After 5? You can do just that by participating in the opening day 5k. While Friday After 5 doesn’t start until 5 p.m., you can pick up your race packet an hour earlier on opening day.
Once you get your packet, get ready to compete. You can score some prizes, so get those running shoes ready, do your stretches, and prepare to run past the competition.
Rock Out to Live Music
Live music is always a big part of Friday After 5, and the organizers have gone all out for the opening night. First, you can take in The Beatles Rock Band Show shortly after arriving. You might think this is just a Beatles cover band, but it’s so much more. The band sings all the biggest hits accompanied by an arena-style performance. This isn’t just some guys standing around microphones and playing instruments. They rock out.
And if you don’t feel like listening to The Beatles, you can still jam out to live music. An assortment of bands will be playing, including Platinum 98 and Pennyroyal. There is something for everyone, even the kiddos, with many offerings.
